You can't buy guts.

Whether taking the field to compete in a sport or facing a major challenge in life: YOU CAN'T BUY GUTS. You can't be convinced to show and use guts and you can't have guts screamed into you by some Internet influencer TOOL. Guts is something we all have, genetically programmed in our survival instincts, and it's our choice to dig deep and use them or fold and succumb to weaknesses that tempt us. Did you lose your job? Are you getting divorced or did your partner cheat on you? Did you catch a bad break with a health or physical condition? Is your drinking, drugging or other behavior affecting your kids? Time to show some guts. You have them. Use them! (and teach/show your kids this fact of life: there is no free lunch regardless what the see and read on social media)
